Hello, my name is Jeroen. Here's a picture of me with my wife Margriet. She rides a GPZ500.

I own a ZL 900 (Canadian version) since 1 October 1994. Since then I've driven about 25.000 kilometers. My friend had one and when I saw it, I fell in love. So I bought one. It was pink.... (but not for long).

Now, as you can see my bike is black, the nicest color to my opinion (although I've seen some nice yellow and Kawasaki Green (!) ones). I want to improve my bike. First of all, I want to get rid of that stupid fuel tank. I'm going to buy a 24 liter version in Germany later this year. After that I'm going to replace my mufflers by Supertrapps. When there's some money left I want to get a Dynojet-kit and Wiseco cylinders. And then.... and after that...! Well, I'll finish this story when I've some more time. I hope you'll enjoy this site!!

OK, I've made the first step. I bought my 24 liter gastank last saturday. Next weekend I'll put it on my bike and then....I don't have to stop every 100-130 km!!! Jippyyy! At last!
Well, 24 litres is a little optimistic. I don't get more than 18 litres in it:-((

The adress I bought the gas tank is:

Welink Motorradhandel

The Big Swap

Ok, here's the story. It was sunday 5th September 1999. I was riding with some friends when I heard a strange noise. It became louder and louder and louder... Then I thought: "Well, I think you better pull the cludge". And that was a good idea, because my engine stopt because there was no oil left... So, I was looking for another engine.
Then two weeks later I spoke with Hans ten Klooster. He just bought a ZL900 so he can build a ZZL1300(!), but he just needed the frame. So we agreed that I would buy his bike and put the best parts of both bikes on that one and that he would keep my bike for the frame. Now I have an excellent ZL900 (1986 A2, 11,500 miles on it) and Hans has his frame.

Below you see the pictures we took while transferring the best parts to my new bike.
